  • Sharon Aguilar is best known for being the lead guitarist for #1 artist Cee Lo Green(vocalist of Gnarls Barkley). At first glance, you would never guess that she was a lead guitarist! She is a GIT student at the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles and a classically trained violinist. She is endorsed by Fender (electric guitar & electric violin), ENGL amps, RainSong Graphite guitars(acoustic guitars), In Tune Guitar Picks and Ernie Ball Strings.

    She has played on the following TV shows: Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Lopez Tonight, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, Carson Daly, Colbert Report, American Idol, Jools Holland(UK),VH1 Storytellers, Fuse TV’s A Different Spin, BET’s 106 and Park, Taratata(France), Le Grand Journal (France), Shlaag den raab (Germany).

    She is currently on a world tour with Cee Lo as his lead guitarist.  Aside from being a performer, Sharon Aguilar is also a songwriter. She co-wrote the song “Rockstar” which is on pop singer Fefe Dobson’s album entitled “Joy.” The song “Rockstar” was also placed on the CW TV series “HellCats,” as well as Amerian Idol.
