• Cassie Taylor is the daughter of renowned bluesman Otis Taylor and has toured in his band for seven years as bassist and backup vocalist.  In addition to embarking on a promising, young solo career, Cassie has also joined the Blues Caravan “Girls With Guitars” as the third member in the female fronted blues review playing bass, keys and sharing vocal duties.  “Blues is our gift to the world, and is a true American art form. It’s the basis of all pop and rock music and I can’t wait to show the younger generation how cool it really is.” “This project for me is about empowering youth, but most of all showing other girls that the music business is more than a mans world, and women play a big roll in music. We can kick some major ass!”
