All-girl rock band Cherri Bomb blew up the stage in front of hundreds of metalheads during Sonisphere Festival 2011 in Knebworth on July 9.
Rumored to be the youngest band to ever play at Sonisphere, this quartet conquered the hearts of hundreds of hardcore metal fans.
“At first there weren’t a lot of people,” said singer and guitarist Julia Pierce during an interview with NME. ”We weren’t sure how good we were gonna do, and then towards the end people were having a mosh pit and all the heavy metal guys were like ‘Yeah, Cherri Bomb.’ So I think by the end we won them over.”
