MetalInjection.net released a video titled On The Record: Women in Metal, which focuses on female metal musicians.

The video includes Q&As with several influential members of the metal community who express their support for female metallers.

Albert Mudrian, editor of Decibel magazine, shared his personal thoughts.

“Metal isn’t the boys club that it used to be,” said Mudrian. “Going to shows in the early ’90s you didn’t see a lot of women. Now when I go to a show or a festival, it’s definitely a cross-section of different people.”

The video also includes interviews with female musicians such as Crisis frontwoman Karyn Crisis. Watch and enjoy below.
